PHARMACIST WANTED

We are looking for a full-time compounding pharmacist to join our team.

Position Duties:

Works Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Answers phones and consults with patients and doctors about customized medications.

Assists in developing compounded formulations.

Uses appropriate resources to ensure each compound’s stability and potency.

Communicates closely with doctors and patients to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.

Counsels patients on their customized medications.

Advises doctors in customized formulas to meet unique patients' needs.

Supervises technicians making medications.

Ensures that compounded medications have been prepared, labeled, stored and packaged properly.

Consistently looks for ways to help co-workers achieve success with their jobs and consistently exhibits a solution-oriented mindset.

Works collaboratively with fellow staff members to ensure the smooth running of pharmacy operations.

Actively participates in and contributes to regular team meetings.

Position Requirements:

Education: PharmD or professional degree with RPh license.

Licensure: Current pharmacist license in good standing with California State Board of Pharmacy.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay of $60 to $70 per hour.

PHARMACIST WANTED

As the Pharmacist, you will be responsible for having a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services provided by the hospital, including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.

Providing clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment.

Maintaining adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.

Correctly informing and instructing patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged.

Developing and participating in new employee training and education programs.

Participating in patient drug therapy monitoring.

Promoting an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.

Current State licensure required.

BLS if required by State.

Must maintain a current license in the state of practice.

Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay of $58 per hour.

PRN / Per Diem / As Needed.

SUPERVISING PHARMACIST WANTED

Responsibilities:

Provide patient care by dispensing medications and counseling patients on proper medication use

Utilize aseptic technique to prepare sterile medications

Offer exceptional patient service by addressing medication-related concerns and answering questions

Conduct patient assessments to ensure safe and effective medication therapy

Collaborate with healthcare providers in medical management of patients

Work in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, emergency rooms (ER), intensive care units (ICU), and pediatrics

Requirements:

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy program

Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice

Completion of a pharmacy residency program (preferred)

Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile compounding

Excellent patient care and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour.
